January 2013 This is my first painting that I did after moving to Victoria in October 2012. I recall how cold I was in the area that I was working; hence the frozen appearance of the dropping flower buds. The wisteria has always been one of my most beloved vines as I remember standing below one that lay on a trellis in Aldergrove and being totally enchanted with it’s beauty. There are also many other hidden personal depictions in this piece.
