June 2013 In need of a planter I discovered this old tree trunk in the back yard at Hopkins Place. Although it was half rotten, I secured it with netting inside the hollow so that it survived the summer’s plantings of indigenous plants from Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary.
